Aliyah to College
The Aliyah of Ethiopian Jews to Israel is one of the great miracles of the last decades and Israel, Ethiopian Jews and world Jewry have every right to be proud. Yet the work is unfinished. There are still thousands of Ethiopians who trace their descent from their Jewish ancestors waiting to go home to Israel. While we cannot ourselves bring them back, we petition the Israeli Government to finish the work that it has begun. What we can do more directly is support young Ethiopian Jews in Israel on their road to success.
Aliyah to College is a fund maintained by NACOEJ, the long-time organizational advocate for Ethiopian Jews, and supported by this documentary. Contributions will go directly toward investing in the academic future of young Ethiopian Jews, recent immigrants to Israel, men and women enrolled in college but unable to afford the basic costs of food and housing.
